Related: Canadians continue to josh Drake.
Last week, an image posted to Instagram revealed Drake's new "praying hands emoji"* tattoo.
*Rumors have convinced the Internet that the emoji is "high-fiving", but the theory has been disproven. Even Emojipedia has officially set the record straight, describing it as "two hands placed firmly together, commonly used to represent praying hands..."
Regardless, the debate wages on.
Presenting: Drake's Emoji Tattoo, a Tumblr imagining all of his other missed ink opportunities.
The idea comes from two Toronto natives who just could not resist poking fun at fellow "Canadian musicians doing silly things."
"We just found it funny that everyone's first reaction to his new ink was to debate the emoji's meaning – not to instantly question what other potential pieces he passed up in favour of those (supposed) praying hands," Jamie Umpherson, one-half of the blog's brainchild who works as a creative at a Toronto-based ad agency, explained. "Our first thought when something hilarious like this happens is, 'what can we do with this to get people laughing even more?'".
