By now, you've probably heard that Donald Trump does not consider Senator John McCain â€" a Vietnam War POW â€" a war "hero" because McCain was captured.
Note: McCain's plane was shot down by the North Vietnamese, who captured him as a prisoner of war for over five years. During that time, he was tortured and now suffers lifelong limitations as a result, in addition to the injuries suffered during his plane crash.
