An apparently pre-programmed promotional post from the late comedian was swiftly deleted.
Joan Rivers' Facebook account posted a message saying that the comedian was planning on getting a new iPhone on Friday, despite the fact that she died over two weeks previously.
TMZ spotted and screengrabbed the post, which was swiftly deleted. Rivers died on September 4 at the age of 81.
The post, which included a picture of an older iPhone, said: "This badass is being replaced by an iPhone 6 (not the fat one). I got this one in 2010, and after 4 years, my only complaint is that apps are now designed for bigger screens, and the battery is getting tired. Never had a case for it, since it was most beautiful on its own. Great achievement in design. Great product. #apple #iPhone #tech"
