Nina Dobrev Farewells "The Vampire Diaries" With The Most Emotional #ThrowbackThursday Ever

The Elena era has come to an end. Prepare to cry.

Actress Nina Dobrev has been counting down to her final episode of "The Vampire Diaries" with a series of emotional #throwbackthursday Instagram posts.

Dobrev, who played the show's main character Elena Gilbert - in addition to several doppelgÃ¤ngers - will appear on the show for the last time in an episode which airs tonight.

The love-filled throwbacks include pictures of fellow The Vampire Diaries co-stars, including Kat Graham, Steven McQueen and Ian Somerhalder.

And honestly, they're enough to make any fan tear up.
