After seven and half years on The Daily Show — and a summer in the hosting seat while Jon Stewart filmed Rosewater — John Oliver will debut his own weekly current events show on Sunday nights starting in 2014.
Last week, Variety reported that Daily Show head writer Tim Carvell will be following Oliver to HBO.
